Caddhlu

All the kids run in from their chores to hear the bard's song.

Had to scan this in parts so it doesn't line up perfectly and some parts are lighter. :/ Dumb small scanner.  And this is NOT meant to be creepy in any way like the Pied Piper of Hamlin. Caddhlu's a nice bard.

This is really good! I especially like the gangly sunflowers. ^_^ They add a lot to the emotion of the picture I think. It's very cheerful.
Lesse, crit- add more spark to your graphite drawings! More shading would add depth, so make the most of the tones between black and white as you can. Leave only the focus points (such as the the bard and children) with pure white tones. Make the backround duller, with the lowest parts such as the gravel and the shadows being the darkest.
The light source, shading and tone are perfect. Pull it out more to make it really shine.

Yeah, I know what you mean. For some reason that I don't understand at all, I seem to be allergic to contrast. I know that that's what makes art pop out, so I definitely need to work on that. A LOT.

You've got a good start anyway. Let's see, allergic to contrast and impatient. We have two things in common! Giggle

Hehe, yeah. Well, I'm gonna do some stuff that makes me focus on those problems.
