Interesting... I like the anatomy of the torso and hips as well as how you dealt with the tail (the end fins are lovely). However, the left arm seems a bit off to me. The forearm is very thin compared tot he rest of the body and the shoulder join seems detached, like she's dislocated it.
Yes, yes I see what you mean about the shoulder. It's just kind of hanging on barely, not really solidly connected. I think I lost sight of the forearm when I was doing her hands. Hands are so difficult that I didn't want to erase them once I had drawn them even if the arms were wrong.
How is thi sexactly a work in progress? This makes a lovely sketch! The only thing that could be added is 1) colour or 2)a background.
So far though I think you've done a really good job especially with the scales.
But there's always room for improvement -- if I may suggest? Her hair looks a little stiff. it should be moving with her, hair is like fabric, it moves with the body.
Yeah you are right the hair looks a bit like one big piece, eh? As for work in progress, I guess I thought she looked a bit lost without a background... but I doubt I'll ever go back and put one in, so I guess we can call this one finished! Thank you very much for the critiques and suggestions - much appreciated!
