children of autumn

...Totally learning how to use this site still.

Main characters, Samantha (15) and Lawrence (19). They're siblings who grow up with different perspectives of life and in their own way, learn to protect those they love most.

Samantha travels to learn about the world and find people who bring color to her life while learning to grow strong in her own way. Although she doesn't show much emotion, she fights to protect those she loves. She sets to save her brother from, well, himself most of the time.

Lawrence, on the other hand, sees the world in a colorful way. He's articulate and gifted in studies and healing arts. He also manipulates others in order to protect those important to him, thus harming others for his own sake. He eventually becomes possessed in an attempt to save his sister, and thus has to learn to see the subtle beauties of life before his own is taken from him.

Both characters are considered "guardians" of others. They will automatically shield others in battle. Although their perspectives in life are different, they fight for the same reasons.

Samantha is a well-rounded fighter who's specialty lies in her immunity in magic, high strength and endurance.

Lawrence is a lightning-type character. He strikes fast, strikes criticals often, but can be a bit of a gamble due to his nature as a healing/swordsman type. He is a support character who has to choose between damaging enemies or healing allies.

TLDR; they're the main characters of my story.
Drawn in Sai. LOL

Sai does have a vector tool, but I actually drew the lines by hand! It's just a 1px pen brush and I just spent a while having fun with it. :>

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like Samantha. Heart

By hand?! Omg O.o couldn't handle that XD I use Illustrator for my vector art- it is SO easy to make nice clean edges with it! I used it on Art thumbnail Making lots of tiny vectors took ages, but for the longer curves it was so easy ^^
