Waterbender Kagome

Fifty years after the Avatar's disappearance, Kagome is faced with the task of restoring balance to the world.

Finally finished colouring this. :)

Anyhow, I've been working on an Inuyasha AtLA AU fic. I realise I'm far from the first person to do one of these but the idea just wouldn't leave me alone. It was too good an opportunity to explore/expand on themes and relationships that I wish had got more attention in the original manga (especially the relationship between Kagome and Kikyou outside of the infamous love triangle).

I drew this mainly to get Kagome's design down so I shamelessly borrowed Katara's pose. :p I tried out a few different colouring techniques (some more successful than others). I'd really appreaciate some advice on shading cloth and doing water effects (links to tutorials are also appreciated).
