This is a villain in my current RPG.

Done on 11" by 14" sketchbook paper while listening to Iron Maiden's The Trooper.

Done well. I like the detail on the armour, fist and the sword. The expression on his face is effective and barbaric, and it's not hard to tell he's a bad guy.
My little bit of constructive criticism: the tattoo on his face may be a little bit overpowering to the rest of the picture. You find yourself more drawn towards that and miss out on the finer details. To counter this, I'd make the main outlines (armour, hands, sword) thicker or darker. The way they are at the moment, everything almost seems to be blending together because the lines are quite light, almost faded.

  Thank you, I remember drawing this one and thinking the tattoo was way too dark and that I had gone too far when I tried to make the tattoo the focus point.

Ohhh thats nifty!! Suggestion: not sure if you want to mess with it now, but I think it you added a little darker contrast into his hand then on the left side, between the cape and him, it would give it stronger presence

He's pretty scary, Dennis. The sort of thing nightmares are made of. I love the 3-dimensional aspect of it. It looks like he wants to jump out and slit your throat. Fantastic!

  Thank you, I had originaly designed him with hair but he didn't quite look as menacing for some reason with long hair.

  Yes, he's alot more fearsome with his bald head. He reminds me a little of Bakah from the Mortal Combat games. Only, Therin has his volume turned way, way up!

  Um, all of them, I think. He's in the most recent one. I think it's called Mortal Kombat Deception or Deadly Alliance or something. I don't really remember the name, actually. My son played it most of the time. I think he's in all of them. But don't quote me on that. *smiles*

AHHHH! He is one scary-ass looking dude. He looks like he needs a hug... If I had to fight him I would be like, okay I'll give you whatever you want...just don't hurt me...

Anyway, this is really cool. He looks extremely evil, the shading is great, and I especially like his hand and sword...great job!
