Thanks! I worked hard on the BG *faints* Tweaks *faints again*
      • Oct 13, 2006, 8:03:54 AM UTC
is the BG all 3d rendering? or was the framework created in 3D and then painted in photoshop or something?
        • Oct 13, 2006, 10:41:18 AM UTC
Framework rendered in Poser and then yes painted to the high heavens in Photoshop. ^_^
          • Oct 13, 2006, 10:46:06 AM UTC
That's really awesome. I'd like to use that technique for my Surviving Together project. There are a lot of corridors and such and modeling it in 3d would probably aid me alot. Is Poser easy to learn?
            • Oct 13, 2006, 10:54:51 AM UTC
Poser is "tricky" and "finicky" no not easy but practice helps learn how sensitive the booger is. DAZ|Studio is a free program that is really almost identical to POSER (All my props I buy from DAZ, the models are interchangible between both programs.)

It can get EXPENSIVE. So if you download DAZ|Studio let me know. I presume you're wanting SCI-FI corridors?

If that's the case don't buy any, I have a TON of Sci-Fi models and I'll set up a place you can download them.

Also don't BUY anything... retail things are EXPENSIVE... I have a platinium club membership with Daz... most things I can get my hands on for $1.99 Let me buy the crap for you (If I don't already have it.) it will save you tons of money.
              • Oct 13, 2006, 10:56:55 AM UTC
For both of those programs can I build the corridors myself or do you have to import everything?

(Yes sci fi space ship corridors and rooms is what i'm looking for.)
                • Oct 13, 2006, 3:45:37 PM UTC
As I don't ever "build" from scratch I have no clue. I use available models and tweak dials. Actually building them you'd have to check DAZ's forums I can't help you there I can barely code a website. You'll probably have way more luck in figureing out how to build models and perimeters much MUCH better than I.

                  ^_^

I want that green shirt. Very, very badly. And green-shirted man's hair. Also very, very badly.

But in all seriousness, this is excellent. I love their hair, their pose, and that background. Did you do that by hand?
    • Oct 13, 2006, 1:05:18 AM UTC
      Green *SHIRT* (The Blond's Shirt)

or Green *VEST* (on the Brunet - Seregil)

Can't imagine why you'd want Alec's homespun shirt. What?

So I'm not sure which man you're talking about here.

      Thanks though.
      • Oct 13, 2006, 4:45:36 AM UTC
It was primarily the vest, although his shirt would probably be comfortable, too. I've gotten a few like that from the local Renaissance Faire, and they're quite cozy.

The dark hair ones always melt me ^^ I'm won over by this one definetly ^^
    • Oct 12, 2006, 2:57:19 AM UTC
He's great in the books too. Seregil is one of those loveable SCOUNDRELS. Mischievious, smart, deadly and witty. (Also a man of many amusing faces and personas. Like the time he dresses in very convincible DRAG as a noble lady!! ahahahahah)

A MUST MUST read these books.

      ^_^
