On March 10th, I'm going to spend Spring Break with my long-time BFF, Chella. Part of this time will be spent in San Francisco (our official Best Friends Forever Club trip), which I'm really looking forward to. <33

In anticipation, I drew this. It's supposed to be her and me, presumably in San Fran.

It took me eight hours and looking at it now, I think I hate it. Which is sad. "My" face is probably my least favorite part.  also think I made Chella's beautiful hair look like poop. Still, I put a LOT of effort into it. For this reason, it's lovingly dedicated to its inspiration, Chella.

The title is the title of what I see as "our song": I'll Stand By You by the Pretenders.

I'm tempted to say mushy cute things...^_^; it's so sweet! I think something that may be throwing this off is the hands-the knuckles don't line up properly, and it changes their structures a bit. If you want to bring out the hair more, try adding making the shadows deeper.

Aiyee! Constructive criticism! [smiley]

Today I tried to reallign the knuckles, but I'm not home to scan and reupload. (I'll rereply to this when I have, so you'll know. Frankly, I didn't really notice the "not-lining-up-properly", even as I was editing it, so I don't know if I succeeded in fixing it.) I also changed "my" eyes, so I think they're a little more even now. I also darkened both hairs a BIT, but I don't want to darken Chella's too much because I want it to be distinctive compared to mine. >_>;
