Ok I've taken some art classes and have learned a lot about something called gesture. The concept seems to have come to me pretty easily and it is my favorite part of my animation class. Looking at this drawing again kind of makes me think I kind of understood the concept all along or at least had an idea. I think it might really be why I like art. But where did it come from?
I must have picked it up from some other artist. Maybe it was Yoshitaka Amano. I don't know. I remember acting out this pose a little bit when I was drawing it, hahaha. Some of the Dragon Ball Z poster and card artwork has extreme gestures but it doesn't happen often enough.

I love your penciled artwork; it's raw and perfect (if those two can go together...you've achieved it!) --- "I am lost.
