Character Sketch: Caroline

The first character sketch for my series The Half Moon Personified: The Avenger. This is Caroline, the main character in the Demonic Chronicles, Tears of Love and Hate, and Half Moon Personfied series, as well as the narrator for a few of my poems.

This started out as a chibi sketch in my doodlepad (it's really one of those calender/journal things). The only problem is, the bigger my chibis get, the more anime style they become. *sigh*

I really wanted to catch her "holier-than-thou" outlook on the abilities of her classmates, so the little quote and the facial expression work perfectly (NOTE: This is as close as she ever gets to smiling until the end of The Half Moon Personified: The Avenger)

The only thing I don't like about this picture is her forehead. I think it looks to thin. I have a hard time making normal-sized foreheads.
