Porcelain

Done all with graphite pencils, except for the word. That was written in ink...

This is of Emmy Rossum, who was in Phantom of the Opera and the Day After Tomorrow. Someone on deviantart asked me to draw this. The concept with the whole porcelain thing is that she looks so beautiful and inhuman in the reference (I didn't do a good job of showing this...) She seemed unnatural and her skin's so smooth and stuff, yet seemed so cold and lifeless...So it reminded me of those antique porcelain dolls.

A few mistkaes that I'm aware of that I can't fix:

-The neck is too long and thin

-The eyes are pointing in different directions

I can't fix these because those parts are done in 9B graphite which is hard to erase, and also I'm afraid that I'll muck it up. Please, if you see anything other thn what I've pointed out, please please tell me! I don't get offended with crits, but I don't like it when people are scared that I may be offended and won't tell me what they think I can improve on.

I can just say that this is really great!!! Big Smile It is wonderfully drawn and so beautifully shaded. The great range of values really makes it pop out.
