Breathe

*blushes* Sorry- I often forget to update here. My deviantart page gets all of the up to date stuff- prety much all my art is up there. I meant, this pic took me an afternoon to do the colouring, and the line art only took a little while. I draw quite a bit ^^ It's getting easier to colour now- the hard stuff for me is the effects . I usually know what colours I want when I draw it. It's simple really- Put down their base colours that you know, draw highlights where you want to be emphasised, colour shadows, and play the rest by ear. The dragon Tattoo was the worst. For a long time,it looked like someone had scribbled a dragon on his arm rather than it being a magical tattoo. Emotion isn't too hard though. It's all colours, and expression. Thaks for the comment ^^

And in no time you'll have the effects down too. You did do a fascinating job on this one and I think you achieved that certain "something" that will make poeple remember it. I as an artist always try to strive for that, but end up falling short. No pun intended on my height.

I put a bit of 'myself' into every pic- I guess that makes it hard to get harsh crit on it, but I try to take it like a girl. (not like a man!! XD )

That means you are atrue artist. ^_^ I always try to put some part of myself into my pics. That is what makes it more personal. That is what cannot be replicated about people's work. I just did one that I posted on red curtain that has alot of myself in it. Just don't let flames get you down. Otherwise, you would have admitted defeat and I think you are stronger than that.

Of course I am. I am tough as nails when it comes to flames. I get flamed at TheOtaku all the time for my nude male characters. They say it is wrong and that I need a hobby. So me, being the smartass that I am informed them that my hobby is drawing naked anime characters. I think it is so funny how people get mad like that when artists take these beloved characters out of their element... not to mention their clothes. Besides, I am a red head. Of course I am going to be fiery. *smiles*

I would love to, but my computer was spawned from the fiery pits of hell and it won't let me download the flash player thing that I need to be able to view that kind of material. And, unfortunately, BR made her chat room with flash media. *sighs* So, my hi's are limited to the Private messages. *frowns.

*grumbles* What do you run? IE? Netscape? Firefox? something else?

IE. It is an ActiveX problem I think. My Uncle (who is a computer specialist) is supposed to fix it for me soon, though... hopefully. *crooses fingers* For now I will just be on the outside looking in, wondering what is going on in that delightful little chat room. *sighs*

BR says she is going to kill it soon anyways :shrug: Taking up too much band width or something. NP though- its all good ^^

Ina all honesty, that would probably be a good idea on her part. It hardly ever gets used. Not that people don't want to use it. It's just that we live all over the world and it's almost impossible to get very many members in there at the same time. Maybe I should tell her that.

BTW, I am not a natural red head either. (blonde-yuk!). I spend far too much money dying my hair bright red. And when I say bright red, I MEAN bright red. Damn my hair looks awesome!

Oh, that's a good pic! You are a skinny-minny aren't you? I am not super skinny, but I am not fat either. I guess the pic I drew is the best comparison for my body shape. Not too bad. *shrugs*

I donno about skinny minny, but I can hide what I do lack well ^^

Me tooooo It's much worse than that for Bryan though. He has been rejected since a young boy cause he was the son of an unwanted daughter. It's no wonder Bryan is such an angery guy. I love drawing his deap down sensitive side though ^^ *huggles Bryan* He can be such a sooky boy :3
