KaGe: Ready for Battle

I wish I could show you this drawing much bigger! It looks so much better big. Much of the detail got lost but at least the hair looks pretty good. The drawing itself was drawn in Fall '02 but I never colored it 'till now so it doesn't have all the drawing goodness of my newest drawings.

This pose was referenced from How to Draw Anime And Game Characters Vol. 4 Page 77

The hair is spectacular; what did you use to color it?

Nice shot! It's not the usual straight on that most people do *is guilty of it as well*, it's very you! ^__^

Ah, I copied that pose strait out of a "how to draw manga/anime" book. I can't take too much credit for it -.-

Awesome perspective! I love all the details. The position of the feet seems to make the pose and background unbalanced though.

You know, I got this pose directly from one of those "How to Draw Manga" books. That's how the feet looked in the original pose. I knew it looked odd but I didn't know how to make it better. I think I'd know what to do now if I ever redrew it. Thanks for pointing it out. Now I know I should have tried to fix it.
