This is a piece I was commissioned to do by Arwen Spicer of StarMerrow. This is supposed to be Daromur, the main character of a Sci-Fi novel.
For this, I refrenced a picture of my best friend, Thanhila Alexandre, whom I believe to be the hotest creature on the planet.

It's like all the authors out there just forget us. We're adventurous people! I've only read one book that featured a black female. She wasn't human (elf) but it was interesting to read about her. --- Guano smells like a dirty sock full of old cheese and farts! - Gonard |

In most cases, it's not a conscious choice, it's just what that particular author finds attractive, or, it's simply that's what comes naturally to them. They rarely consider writing about differant ethnicities, 'cause really, why should they? A person being black doesn't change their character (at least, it couldn't). Though, I AM getting sick fo reading and looking at the pale "beauties." And, really, even when dealing with dark skinned ladies, they're usually closer Halle Berry's complexion rather then an actual African's (which I think is so beautiful). --- "PRIVACY PROTECTION SYSTEM: Organizm behind door is friend.
