Blue Eyes White Dragon

I did this one for TheDemonSess. It was a pain to draw!!! She graciously helped me out with a picture of mine, so I thought I'd return the favor and I made her this one. Hope you like it DemonSess.

  Thank you. The only part I hate is that the wings had to be clipped to fit my scanner. >_< I hate that. I still have serious problems with drawing things in scale. >_< Ah well. We always have something to work on huh? This dragon is the Blue Eyes White Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh. I love the dragon and I love the comic book style it has to it. That is a wicked picture of the blue-eyes white dragon!The blue-eyes is my favorite monster in the whole game. Keep up the most excellent work (air guitar tune)

That is totally killer coming from an artist of your magnitude. ^_^ I had a hard time with the shell of his body and I am still seeing little things that need some work, but I can always go back and fix them later when I feel not so lazy.   I always feel that way with my work, I notice something after the fact. usually I'd rather go on to something new rather than modify the old though.
  Its a nice environment here, most of the sites I'm a part of are so large that it is difficult to get feed back. This is a pleasant change of pace. Thanks for asking.

  Well, thank you, love. It took a long time and alot of sanity to be able to finish this one. His body was extremely hard to draw BECAUSE of the metallic look. Thank you so much for supporting my work and finding the beauty in it, even if I always can't. I guess that is what makes you a great husband.

  Thanks, sweetie. I love the hair color too. If you can imagine, it makes for some very interesting conversations among people. You should see just how many people stare at me because of my hair. It is so funny. Oh well. Most people my age as well as little kids like it and always come up to me and tell me how cool it looks. Anywhoo, thanks for the compliment about the picture. The black in it gives it almost a comic book feel I think. That's what I thought anyway as I was drawing it. Much love.

Really well drawn , A refreshing sight to see a "blue dragon" rather than the conventional red dragon.I liked that you chose to give it an crab like shell instead of scales , makes it look like a bit inorganic.

  Thank you so much. This one is actually a character from the hit series Yu-Gi-Oh. It's name is Blue Eyes White Dragon. I don't know if his hide is supposed to be metallic or what. That's just the way it looks. I like the look of dragons this way as well. I think it was alot easier than it would have been if I did all of those scales. *shudders*

" Peculiar that you should have a name like that when you are so adorable. Anywhoo, I love the color too. It is really pretty and it suits my personality well. I had it pulled back in those hair chopsticks. It usually falls down to the middle to lower part of my back. It is a pain to dye it because it is so long, but oh well.   Yeah there are a few problems with it. His right foot looks a bit small as well, but oh well. I will fix it some other time. I got so mad at this picture that it almost didn't get finished. I have a wee bit of a temper. It's the red hair. I am glad that I stuck with it though. A dragon made of metal would be very cool. A dragon made of glass, though, it may look cool, would not have a very good defense mechanism. It would shatter with one attack. Anyway, the person in the pic is me. I wanted everyone to see my kick a*s red hair. I told you guys that I have really red hair. ^_^

  Well, i dont think there are problems with it, i havn't even noticed the shorter foot, which one is it?! They both look quite in proportion!About his head, i thought he would look meaner with his...d%mn how do you call that in english...snout(anyway where his nostrils are) more carved, he'd look more 'féroce' (french for aggressive)!

  Aww, thank you so much. Hopefully I will still have the look of everlasting youth when I am older. Luckily, the women in my family age gracefully. Now that I have said that, I will probably wake up tomorrow and have gray hair and big bushy eyebrows. It is his left foot that looks a bit out of proportion to the rest of his body. I know exactly what you're saying about the ferocity aspect of his face. Unfortunately this was the best I could do at the time. *frowns* Thank you so much for your insight. That is the easiest way for me to learn and improve. I think my more recent work is already alot better than some of the stuff I put up when I first joined this group. As long as I don't get too many "ignorant" flames, then I welcome it. As for "ignorant" flames, I am talking about the people who just are plain mean and say terrible things with the only goal in mind to hurt your feelings. Usually I just put on my smarta*s hat and let them have it back.

  Exactly. That is why I love this place. people will offer you great advice and it's up to you whether you want to take it or not. I always try to be honest with people. I won't say mean things I just try to offer advice on different things to try to achieve the results you want and I appreciate that people do the same for me. It is the best way to improve as artists or writers.

  Thank you love. It is a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh series. I was telling Demonsess the other day that I had made one like this a while ago, but I didn't know whatever happened to it. So I decided to make a new one and I made it especially for her. At least she didn't ask me to do a wolf. *laughs*
