EDIT: I had been asked if I minded someone writing a fanfic based on this and I gave my permission and requested a link when it was done. And it's done! It is written by FFXFan13 and titled: "What should have happened" on FanFiction.net. Please go read :) I am so happy!
This is going by the ANIME's ending not the MANGA's since I haven't gotten the last book yet so bear with me. I didn't like that they ended it so that there can't be a sequel so I had to change that. Below is the whole conversion so please read it all. And those with hentai minds...well the one talking about the "feeling" Rosette gets is Saint Peter so it HAS to be clean but what they find out after a long, hard battle is a different story. Oh and unless you have a fast connection you might not want to full view - it's a huge file.
This is an older piece and I still can't draw CC much better yet but bear with this one, I wanted to upload it mostly because there aren't many CC fanart here, plus I *really* like Saint Peter's wings. Also I'm not sure if this really goes under "Fantasy" but it does have Saint Peter so I thought it *might* fit there, if it needs to be changed please let me know.
Rosette: If Chrono's not allowed in, I'M not going in!
Chrono: It's okay Rosette, I can stay out here. I don't mind. As long as you get in, I'll be happy.
Rosette: NO!
Chrono: But Rosette!
Rosette: NO!
Saint Peter: Oh no, no Rosette that's not the problem. Chrono WILL be allowed in, he changed his ways and did a lot of good and earned a place in heaven alongside you. It's just that.....you two are here way before your time.
Rosette: huh?
Saint Peter: *reading book* Yes, you're not supposed to be here yet. We'll have to send you back.
Chrono: Um.... you can do that?
Saint Peter: Oh yes, we'll just restore you back to your lives as you were when you left them....with a couple changes of course.
Rosette: *suspicious* What changes would those be hmmmm?
Saint Peter: Well let me see. Chrono's horns for one. Since he chose to be with you instead of using them to restore his power, we'll reattach them with one little... alteration - whenever he uses his power they will give you back some of your lifeforce that he used. His power will be the same as it used to be and you will still have to unseal him using the pocketwatch but your soul will be "refilled" every time he unseals. Plus when you have your full soul back, it will stop.
Rosette: And what's the catch?
Saint Peter: There is no catch.
Rosette: There's always a catch.
Saint Peter: Not for this there isn't. The only thing is after you are done and seal his powers back up, he will be VERY tired. He will likely fall right asleep as soon as the pocketwatch is closed so be careful to get to a safe and quiet place as soon as you can. Oh and make sure he eats a lot when he finally wakes up, food will be how he replaces the energy he uses so expect him to be very hungry. Long battles will exhaust him so don't get scared when he sleeps for a very long time, just stay close by and he'll be fine.
Rosette: That's it?
Saint Peter: Yes.
Chrono: um..I have a question. Will it still hurt Rosette when I'm unsealed?
Saint Peter: Oh! I almost forgot that. No, it will not hurt her. Actually it will feel nice, like drinking a cup of hot chocolate.
Chrono: That's all? It really won't hurt?
Saint Peter: Yes. And *looks back in book* since it looks like you're not supposed to be back for quite a while, please be careful with your lives -if one of you dies so will the other. It's part of the change to Chrono's horns and of course you will have to finish your jobs at the Magdalan Order but after that you can do as you please.
Rosette: And how long will that be?
Saint Peter: You will know when that time comes. Just live your lives to the fullest. Now I'll call for an angel to escort you both back to Earth. Please unseal Chrono so he may carry you Rosette.
Rosette: *unsealing* Ohhh... that does feel nice...
Chrono: mmmm...yes it does...
END.

Wow!! I sometimes hate to think how many layers i use on things...^^;
*cough* My best artwork normally runs to so many layers that I get the little sliding bar at the side on them.
*nods* I sometimes come close to it, & sometimes go over so i get it too... I should look how many layers one of my latest ones was...
