Bad Sugar Bear

I drew this picture for my dad for Father's Day. This is Sugar Bear (Bear for short) my dad's dog. She is an Akita and is about 6 years old. She is really sweet and loving and is very mischevious. Sometimes she digs in my dad's yard to get back at him for leaving her alone when he leaves for a few days, and sometimes she digs in the planter bed and lays down in it when she gets hot. Also, she has knocked the screen door off its hinges a few times...the list goes on and on. My dad is always yelling at her "D***it Bear!" When she does something wrong. So, I drew this with my inturpretation of the look on her face when she gets caught. :)

*laughs* That is so adorable!!! I love your humorous drawings that you do of your pets. You really seem to "get" their mischief. Bear does look awfully naughty. The funny thing is, she seems to know she'll get away with it by the look on her face. Very well done, love.

hahah That dog has such a mischevious grin on it's face. I hope your dad enjoys this drawing. It seems like you really captured the personality of your dad's dog.

  Thank you BogusRed! Yes, I gave it to him and he laughed at it(in a good way). I swear, when she gets into trouble she looks like she is grinning like an imp, only when she does it in real life her mouth is open and her tounge is hanging out. Then when my dad goes after her she runs away playfully.
