If there is one thing I loathe, it is dreadful Mary Sues.
Sara of the two part episode 'The Woman who loved Sesshoumaru' is no exception.
There was no originality to her creation - the bastard child of three pre-existing characters rolled up into one (Naraku, Izayoi and Rin, specifically). And her unhealthy obsession with Sesshoumaru - seriously - made me want to gag.
Given her personality and actions/origins, I think she would be the last person Sesshoumaru would ever give a second thought to if she was involved in a canon story - sooner killing her than remotely considering her as a potential love interest (the episodes were filler episodes; never having taken place in Rumiko Takahashi's manga - and thank goodness for that).
Thus, the depiction of how I envisioned Sesshoumaru reaction to such a die hard fangirl of his. Obviously, he is unimpressed, much to her surprise.

Awesome job ^^
I really like how it turned out, every piece of it!
Great job!
Oh, and Sesshoumaru's kimono is red not purple...
I think he looks good in purple. XD
... almost ^^'
But in traditional and men's clothing, he's perfect.
What's funny about it is that she made the very same pact that Onigumo had with his respective demons - and he only became a half demon, at best (who we know as Naraku).
So, how did Sara become full demon after agreeing to the same pact? the only answer I can come up with is Sunrise was aware that Sesshoumaru would hook up with neother a human, nor a half human, so they changed the effects of the demonic pact by making Sara full demon. (blatant Mary Sue ploy right there).
At the point where he destroys the demon that is now Sara, it's made to look like he did it out of sympathy for the obsessive twit - seeing as she was begging him to help her before he delivered teh killing blow; but I like to see it as he destroyed her to save his brother and rid himself of the tremendous annoyance she presented him.
Though they can be incredibly fun to play with. XD
She's just...urgh! And the fact Sesshoumaru is somewhat OOC in this two parter just...yeah.
All I can say is thank God she isn't canon.
Episodes 133 and 134, respectively.
Its entirely Sunrise's brainchild and in no way associated with the manga.
I was thinking of a follow up for this piece (Sara in her battle armor) with the foolish idea that maybe it was her girlish dress that put Sesshoumaru off.
Heh heh - my initial thought on how to handle it was Sesshoumaru rejecting Sara again (just have to think of the perfect Sesshoumaru decline that doesn't involve killing her outright) and as he makes to leave Sara once again - in a state of complete dejection and wailing about why he refuses to love her - only to have Rin pass by, look up innocently and say 'Because you're trying way too hard, Hime-Sama' - or something typical of her.
Oi, lame - I know. XD
