elf

This is an elf that i have been working on for ages, I am satisfied with his face but cant figure out what to do with his body or the background. Comments would be good for this one please!!!!!

Well for his body you could add some legs, and an arrow for that bow. Is that a shield on his back? Maybe add a metal hub in the center and some wooden textures on it.

Then add a crescent moon in the sky for a finishing touch!

Good pose... but a few things to be concerned about. The bow blends in with his hair in the coloring. His hand on the bow should be larger than the other one, in fact at LEAST 2/3 of the size of his face if it was open, since it's in front of his body and things closer to the viewer are larger.
I like the style you have for his hair, it looks very smooth and flows nicely. Also if you continue the color the bow has at the top, it will look quite nice as well!
I'm no good at backgrounds, so I can't help you there, sorry.
