Water Mage

Posted Aug 28, 2007, 11:43:38 PM UTC

Arken showing off his powers as a water mage. I'm really happy with how the coloring turned out in this. The water was a real pain, though >.<

Done in colored pencils.

All critiques and compliments welcome

I was drawn to the colors and flow of this one. It's so very clean! ^_^

Thank you Smile He's one of my newer characters, and I was just messing around with a costume design (and practice coloring water)

The water may have been difficult, but you ahve done a great job of it! I love the speel effect you have going here.

Thank you again! My first attempt at a spell or something like that, and I'm still rather pleased it with.

How pretty! He somewhat reminds me of my character Keione except he's a Winter mage.

      Thank you ^^

A winter mage? He controls snow? Wee, snow days ^^

Actually, I think this is one of your best. I really like this pic.

Question: are the symbols from a created language you designed, or are they real symbols? I'd like to use the same on the character if I could.

The symbols I just made up from my crazy imagination. ^^ I wanted something to look really Atlantis like (yeah, that's where Arken's from), so I just goofed around with different symbols. Smile

I saw something similar on the other characters, symbols on their skin. Was just wondering if they were related...

You must mean my vampires, Gaulzen and Siren. Those symbols are different. I actually made an alphabet for my vampire language. If you look carefully on their left arms, the runes actually spell their names. The runes are slightly different from our own alphabet Sweat Drop
