Hmm...

I got these elf ears at the renaissance fair in February. (actual photo here)

This was mostly an experiment with some new brushes I made, but it turned into something a little more than a sketch. About 5 hours in Photoshop. I almost called this a photo-manipulation, but it's not, really... I started with the photo up there, but then about an hour into it I deleted the photo and just went with it. So I dunno... I don't think it fits that category anymore, but it took less work than if I'd sketched and drawn it from scratch. :\

First of all, I want those ears. Bad.
Figured I'd get that off my chest. Second of all, I love this picture. So much, you don't even know. It's soft and lyrical, mysterious and demure, and the colors are georgeous. Yes, georgeous. High, high compliment from my kind. ^____^ I seriously just... ungh! So beautiful!

Wow, this is beautiful. This is what I wish people would do when they made elves - take a realistic face and add the pointed ears. And the atmosphere is great too! Awesome job!
