Chaining the Wicked

Really old drawing, made somewhere in 2005. I still like it even despite it's flaws, so hence me posting it here. Not putting it into mature content, as it only has little violence.

Anyway, this is Albel Nox from Star Ocean Till the End of Time. This particular piece was inspired by the dungeon scene in the game. This could have happened if he was held there longer. I'm sorry for the pathetic-looking bricks and the supposed blood-stains on it, but I'm not too experienced with backgrounds.

This was quite the pain to draw back then, though. Let alone color. I've purposely done it in grayscale. Albel himself looks a bit 'glow-in-the-dark', but I like the contrast.
