This is a terrefic pivture! Aside from the very well thought out and rendered center figure, aside from the wonderful little vulture creature. What really makes me gape is how well those trees are done. They are absolutely breathtaking.

I don't know maybe it's me but those trees of yours just left me speechless. Is that odd? I'm not usualy impressed by tree renderings but for some reason these made a huge impression with me.

Another beautiful drawing by you. I love to look at your art. Some of your drawings really look like they belong in LOTR. [emoticon] You should have been the one to design for Tolkien. [emoticon] I cannot even imagine how long it takes to do one of your amazing drawings. I usually get tired after a while and just cut corners. I am so lazy. [emoticon] You are such a talented artist. You ought to be very proud. Great... now I am sounding like a mother again...

Thank you so much!... I wish I could have been a part of TLOTR too but it is a bit far fetched. Thank you in any case. My works normally take two hours or less. This one was an exception to the rule taking several hours. The one I'm workin on currently is the first to have caried on past the day I started it. Normally I make a rule to finish what I start before I sleep. If I wait longer it probably won't get finshed, I'm a procrastinator, and if I don't do it right away it won't get done.

*laughs* Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow Zac. [emoticon] Seriously though, you do do a wonderful job. I am amazedat how balanced these are. You have the WHOLE page filled up and yet it seems to be perfectly balanced between character and background and detail. Most Excellent. You are working on another drawing at the moment? Well, I cannot wait to see it.

Thanks, This is one I did the other day, so it's nice to hear I am improving here and there. I don't exactly have a portfolio,(in some ways I do though) cause I keep looking through it an casting aside work. Perhaps I am to critical but I look through my work and find nothing but junk. I hope one day my reaction will be different, yet if it is how will i ever improve.

you know, one of my art teachers once told me that the way you feel about your art now, will be the same way you feel about your art for the rest of your life. So if you think you stink, you will always think you stink. If you think you're good, you'll always think you're good. So, just put together your best pieces and put them in a portfolio and ignore that voice in your head that says you suck. The goal is to practice and try and suck less. hahaha

I suppose that would be a decent goal.

I like this very much. You captured a wonderfully dark fantasy mod in this one. I especially like the textures you were able to get with the graphite.
