Elephant Unfinished

Artist's Comments

At last, after many moons, I have finally got back to drawing, thanks to a friend who has joined me once a week for  mandatory art sessions. This elephant is the first of many wildlife artworks. I still need to do some detail on the foliage and the elephant's flank, but he's well on his way - 6B pencil on cartridge

Wow, the shading on the skin of the elephant is just amazing- I gotta get back to drawing more realistic stuffs soon...

I think putting even more efforts into the plants would boost up the entire picture's quality majorly.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I want to put more foliage in the background and foreground, though I am a little apprehensive, because that's not my strong point.
