Artist's Comments

Hard to explain this one, but suffice to say it's a rivalry of power in nature: one fragile and beautiful and bound to the earth, the other dark and shrewd and commanding the sky.  Tried to show contrast not only in their expressions, but also in the nature around them--Faeren has more swirly, mossy forest and butterflies, while Morgan has mostly stick-like branches.  Morgan steals his powers from the wood, they are not given to him freely.  His wings are also stolen, but that's a long story.  ^__^  I really enjoyed painting this, despite how long it took to complete. Full view please!

Wow. I think this is a very different painting in terms of your style- not a bad thing, just different. I guess I'm so used to your artworks being very harmonic flows of shapes and colors when I see the juxtaposing color scheme of this one, it simply jumps out at me.

Your work is always so gorgeous and nice to look at. *-* I could stare at this for hours.
(But I won't, cos I have homework I should be attending. x3)

Holy bugger! Wonderful work as always. The brownish oragne reminds me of autumn and the green of spring, for some reason.
How long did this actually take? I would never have the patience.

This picture is simply amazing. I have to admit that every time I see one of your pictures it takes my breath away.

Its nice seeing this image in colour. Its makes it easier to see everything that is going on and draws your eyes to the most important parts.

Great job! ^_^

Wow, gorgeous as always!

I especially like how everything flows together, even though the elements are very different and kept separate from eachother at the same time.
