Under the Blood Moon

this is a drawing i did of a nyathra, a dark elf from the world my story takes place in. (the plural and masculine form is nyathyr, but for a female it would be nyathra.) this started out from me wanting to work on some poses other than just standing staring straight ahead. then, it turned into this. i don't really know why she's holding that peice of cloth, or why there's a snake next to her; i was just looking for a way to break the geometricness of the columns.

(i hope to color this at some point, which is why i named this "under the blood moon" - i hope to color it red.)
