Something I wanted to get down for my Jak and Daxter character. (Shrugs) There's so much space on the picture; I should've cropped it smaller. Oh well.
Just my character, Kaye, after she gets stranded in Jak's world. I won't dive into the whole story (like I normally do... >.>; ), but I'll just say, she didn't really plan on going there and getting stuck in the middle of the Wastelands. :p
Anyway, she's just your regular...multi-hobbied child who obviously has too many little skills. Whatever. She's not one of those "OMG, I can do this, this and this, and I'M THE BEST AT IT! @#$@^*%*(!!!"
Nooo. She's just kinda like, "Yeah, my bro and my parents taught me most of this and the other stuff I had to figure out on my own and took years to get to where I am. Not that great, but it gets me by just enough to stay ahead." So no. No Mary-Sue. She's just kinda...there...when she finds the dynamic duo. Just there. Yeah.
Her first concept sheet, I had no reference (CRAP!) and she looked too much like Alice from RE: Extinction, so I said, "NO" to it, ditched it, and started fresh. I had been coloring most of this in the dark with just a few candles and a powerful-ass flashlight during one of our many "wonderful" blackouts, so if the coloring job looks crappy, I apologize. I was just killing time until the lights came back on.
