[Tutorial] Stage 1 Rough Draft

Posted Jul 30, 2005, 1:44:58 AM UTC
No I really do NOT consider this "mature" because the anatomy is in wire frame and is only there to show where things should FALL when clothing a character and to make sure you make allowances for anatomy. Some people can't handle even the impression of anatomically correct, no matter how crude a wire frame so, if you find it offensive or mature I will change the rating post haste.

This is my Character Yuri (Who is a Transgender and DOES eventually make the complete change into a female, hence why he looks so "girly" He's supposed to be. He's in one of my Novel Series "Following Tides, Book II"

I'll answer 2 of your questions with one reply.

      ^_^

I Rough sketch *AND* ink in the same program. Open Canvas.

None of this was on paper.
All of it was on the computer.

Yes I layout things in Red and Blue so when I INK it stands out.

      ^_^

You're paitent. I couldn't do it that way. I crave the resistence of a pencil and ink pen ^^ Its strangley satisfying. I suppose its what you're use to though...

Um, you get the same thing from a tablet. It works just like a pencil. That's what I use, this was so NOT done with a mouse.

Errrr- nope. Not the same. Sorry, but I wont agree with you on that. Tablets have no resistance. It's really weird to get use to, but apparently I picked it up very quickly. I've only had my tablet less than a year.

I know this picture too! Wow, I feel so knowledgeable. At any rate, I am really happy that you are posting your how-to here. It's always valuable to see how another artist creates their works.
