Comment:
I'd been wanting to sit down for a long time and pick up my traditional media things again. Believe it or not, digital media isn't my primary function. I get a kick out of OC and PS, don't get me wrong; but I'm a girl who likes to make a mess on paper. Sad thing was, I'd hit a brick wall of funk. So I went music hunting and found some of the most awesome African drumming tunes, the Marimba one blasted for three days while I worked on this. And of course, the character's namesake song played while I added the more delicate and fine details. Anyway, rambling.

This is my cheetah, Moonflower. I'd been realizing while working on this just how special she is to me. And I've also come to realize just why I love cheetahs so much. I wanted her to look very ethereal and soft, elegant, etc. Especially when it came to the mane/hair; I wanted this silk thread/liquid effect. I've always pictured it that way in my head and did manage (with some trouble) to get it just right. As for the background its more symbolic/abstract. So no comments about it being "incomplete" because it is very much so finished. Same goes for the fact that there is no reflection in the water, its that way for a reason, so not a word thanks.

But enough of my yammering, enjoy~
