Spectrum Wings

- Gareth the vampire

Felt like drawing a young uke, so I uke-a-fied Gareth into the little thing you see here. He's holding a raven plushie, which is symbolic of his mate, Raven... And yes Gareth does have rainbow bat wings... He just hides them most the time.

The colors in this are just so magnificent to look at, and the wings are quite beatuiful to see, I can see why you named the piece "Spectrum Wings" the wings are like looking at the colors of light, like a rainbow through a prism. I am deffinately going to this, or I'm gonna go nuts if I don't have this marvelous array of color in my favs lol.

  hmm... if I recall correctly... I colored the background purple... then cheated once scanned and put in the white patterns to vary the background a bit

  hey the cheating looks great. I think it makes it more interesting. It reminds me of those watercolor backgrounds for the sailor moon manga drawings. I think the artist used things like doilies to bleach out certain areas. It looks cool.
