I started to make a set of pencil concept sketches of different (male) characters from a world I created with a friend in a RP - just for fun and to keep smooth with traditional media.
The scanner ate the grey shades, the original has more contrast. >.<

My scanner leaves greys alone, but destroys yellows.

I truely think that it depends on the company it is made by. My just happens to be HP and it is a scanner/copier/printer.. Now the funny think is it doesn't like to print yellow either, even when the ink is brand new!
