Howdy! BogusRed here. This is my Secret Santa for arkillian of her characters Alex and Athena.
I laughed out loud when I found out I was Secret Santa for Arkillian because I already know her pretty well and didn't know too many of the other participants.
I'm pretty much done with the line art. I want to make a few tweaks to Alex's face and a few other places before I move to color. I think I will do some light color on this similar to what I did for my commission for Arkillian:
Overall I'm very happy with how this is turning out. I worked on the line art for hours because I often don't know exactly where the figures are going to be posed. I sort of try it one way and then erase, then try another way, then erase. I feel as though I am sculpting because I start off with light lines and then gradually build up the muscles, drapery, etc. At one point I had almost completely finished line art for Alex, realized it wasn't working, and erased him completely and started over with drawing him. And I'm glad I did because the way it is working right now is a lot more successful than the initial line art I had for him.
Any critique is welcome here but I may start color on this soon so if you have any comments on the line art, please make them as soon as possible. Thank you very much!

I really like the poses on this. It's like she's stopping him from falling with her touch. She's got such an expression of tenderness on her face too...I love dreamy pieces with flowing hair etc - ^.^
Not alot i can see to critique......I thought perhaps his left hand looked a bit odd, like it the fingers should be more relaxed...but I think that's more personal taste than anything else.
Can't wait to see it coloured!

This is so nice. It really works up my anticipation for my SSanta gift- who will it be...
The only thing I can see off quick to improve would be the guy's left foot- which seems a bit too twisted in contrast to his whole body.
