The set of colors you chose is just amazing. The whole fiery scene work together flawlessly. Though, if anything, heightening the contrast of the lion's skin might work to bring it out more.

I concur. This is a wonderful piece, but the actual beast should have contrasted with its surroundings more. Other than that, I LOVE IT!
