One eye open

Mononoke fanart, as in the short sequel series to Ayakashi, not the Miyazaki film, of course. The Medicine Seller and Kayo and the Medicine Seller again. Like I figure it, since the Medicine Seller always sort of dramatically swoons when his other self wakes up and starts swinging the sparkly sword around, only one of them's ever conscious at the same time. So the one half of the Medicine Seller's just evaporating, and the other's just waking up. (And they're both. . .or he is. . .he and himself are kissing Kayo, who looks a bit freaked out by the dissolving remains of whatever that was that originally necessitated the drawing of the sword. ^^ Kayo is adorable--she reminds me of Fuu.)

    This is amazing.
I've not seen much artwork for that anime and it's sad because it was great, but your fanart is simply beautiful.
This world need more kusuriuri art!
    Well done!

The color and composition really make this piece. I'm unfamiliar with the series, but I love this piece of art for its own sake. <3

This is absolutely gorgeous; I've been admiring the piece for at least ten minutes and keep finding new details to squee over.

    The composition and colours... wow.

As always, love your choice of colour. And Kayo must be Fuu's cousin. I agree- they are very similar.

      >Big Smile

There so needs to be more drawn of them. (I'm looking forward to your doujin like burning, you know. The IY one you did was already all kinds of awesome. <3)

Your picture has re-inspired my co-creator for the doujinshi (she's writing it), so hopefully we'll be able to come out with something soon! If not, I'll just have to draw lots of hot, wet, dripping Kusuriuri/Kayo/Kusuriuri sex and make up for it. Evil

..or maybe I should just do that anyway. Wink

        Anyhow, MOAR PLZ!!!! Heart

Though I'm not familiar with the series, the art here is no doubt very unique and colorful. I love the way things seem to overlap and blend. Very nice!
