The Golden Days

A late Christmas present for my friend, Rebecca, who is the newest player in ParaChiMar. Alun'e there came into Chimu unable to speak their language and at a complete loss for words seeing as the object of her religion's worship (IE The moon) was completely absent from the sky. Fortunately, she managed to find herself at the doorstep of a fellow outsider- and with a bit more luck, it just so happened that they came from the same world.

Silence is from a later era on earth, but still prior to anything we know today. He arrived on Chimu in his late teens and began living as a simple fisherman, eventually building himself a shack to live in by the ocean and a simple boat. Since Chimuian werewolves don't suffer the same curse as he does, and him being a metis, Silence took to solitude with the exception of his participation in the most recent war. Once peace was restored, he returned to his old way of life with occasional visits from his buddy, Tayn.

The old seadog wasn't ready for Alun'e but that's just too bad. XD

They really do make a cute couple. XD Contrasting each other in just about every way from religion to behavior. Opposites attract no?

Anyway.

I did the sketch yesterday in about three hours, kind of while watching chick flicks to uh.... >_> Set the mood. Yeah. I sat down to ink it around seven so it's been about 6 hours digital work, nine total. Not the absolute best I've done but I'm happy with it. XD Especially Alun'e since she's been giving me hell whenever I try to draw her.
