Das Messer WIP

So this is the one I work on at the moment ^^ Started today, around 6pm saw a stock picture, got an idea in mind, sketched on PC, drawn in pencil, scanned and now coloring.

Hope to get it finished tomorrow, but now I'm going to bed :sheep:

any tips, tricks and tutorials are welcome as usual

Great picture. I don't know about your style or aim, but if it's me, here's what I'll do:
-Go ahead and increase the contrast more, as well as smooth out the shadings on the faces and add more colors for more depth (you realize that a white or any single-color object doesn't just carry that color, but also traces of all the colors it get from around the surrounding).
-I'll try to make the focus (the two) separate from the background a bit more (especially the purple hair).

I'm not sure how to say this, cause I'm not sure how to fix it, but that slitting hand looks odd. Maybe the sleeve is too long and should be crumpled backwards. They don't usually sit in that spot unless the material is heavy (Like hakama material), or if the arm is straight down and gravity isn't fighting it. Those are my thoughts since you seem to welcome pointers
