The faces are cute and proportions are all good. I am not a fan of merging artwork onto a photo unless the photo is worked well, so they blend, as it makes it seem a bit off. There are too many textures used here and they are in your face textures, so they are distracting to me. Don't forget to add cast shadows were needed, like under the hand on the back.
