kelly with the butterflies

this is my sister, kelly. I was at first going to do just a simple portrait. . . but I changed my mind and made it more fantasy. while drawing it, I was thinking alot about who she is. kelly's an amazing person, and I've always been extreamly jelous of her. she's over 6 feet tall. .. embarassing when people always think she's the older one. . . I'm 2 years older yet she's 2 feet taller. she's an amazing basketball player. . . very good with singing. . . she's such a people person. . . all i can do is draw and although I'm proud of myself for it - no one really cares about artists. . . people my age don't talk about art, they talk about sports. it kinda sucks.

anyway. . . this is my little sister. . . I had a lot of fun drawing her because she has such an exotic look to her face with these really high cheek bones.
it took me about 3 hours of work. . . not very long and I could have done alot better, I know. but I'm really very happy with the out come.
