I like how you tossed this piece up on its head for added interest. I think the overall proportions are fine, but the lack of detail in the face makes it seem out of touch with the much more detailed clothing and jewelry. The nose appears as just nostrils, adding some shading to distinguish it from the cheeks and flesh it out would help a lot. The smoothness of the cheeks is youthful looking, but again adding some shading to show muscle structure would help. Thanks for sharing.
