This artwork was a farewell present for an older lady, who goes to Australia for a long time.
I used the drawing utensils of my wooden Cretacolor paintbox. There are only white, brown and grey colours included. For the soft gradients at the flower petals and leafs I've taken a paper stump to blur the pastel chalk.
The original was a colour photo.
Media: pastel chalk, coloured pencils
Paper: grey-brown letter paper with fiber structure
Size: 25 x 21 cm
Time: 4½ h
