David The Warrior of Heaven

Our awesome hero from the Bible - David the Shepherd Boy - the ruddy and handsome young man after God's own heart! Here he is playing a psalm of thanksgiving with his harp because he just found his lost sheep ^_^ The sheep is so happy but little he realize how much David have to put up with just to find him.
David had to leave his whole flock, vulnerable to thieves and bandits, so that he can find him and snatch him from the lion's mouth!

It was those tense and hard times during Israel's spiritual and political crisis, when the nation of Israel and the invading forces of the Philistines were in a stalemate situation of war. God helped him defeat the seasoned warrior and champion of the Philistine army, Goliath - the giant of Gath, in a decisive one on one battle in the Valley of the Shadow of Death.
In the future our Lord Jesus Christ physical family lineage will come from David's bloodline.
