WZ- Ruskies

Edit: Reading "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" has put me in a... rather cynical- no, sarcastic- no, geblangsastic mood... yes, that's the word, so do pls tolerate the off-beat tone of the description below.

The Chinese lines translate:

Most of you probably won't understand a thing in this short two-page comic.

And you have the perfect right to not understand it. Therefore, enjoy the page as it is, or, if you are truly interested, pls do continue in reading this lengthy description:

WZ: Ruskies is the parody of the actual Wu Zhi comic (which is not published on the web as of this moment). The tale starts off with the usual "the war is coming, you're are chosen to find this, this, this to save this village" theme, but what WuZhi (the main character, as seen in bottom left panel) has to find is the Water Lily Stone, the key to the Outworldly Peach Garden (a Chinese expression of speech for an outworldly haven, synonymous with Shangri La). Of course, the illectual capacity of WuZhi and most of his three travel-mates are somewhat/highly limited in more than one extents- and the same may be said about most of the villains, which of course is what would make the original comic highly funny and ridiculous. This is simply a parody of the actual tale (as the creator, dienle.deviantart.com, and I always seem to come out with more ideas for short parodies than anything).

The whole idea of the smarter and more cynical Russian parallels to Wuzhi and Kal seems highly fascinating (to me), and is only even more motivated by Jill V STAR 's original sketch [link]
