Lady of crowTotal Posts: 44Apr 10, 2008 9:37 pmWow, this is just amazing. The shading is really good and the water affect is just unbelievable. I’m sorry I can’t help with the shimmer thing. --- Q. How long is a piece of string? A. Twice the length from the center to one end. |

WildeKardeTotal Posts: 176Apr 10, 2008 10:30 pmYOur SOL. Just kidding. YOu can try a few thing. depending on your scanner. play with the different settings.but more than likely you will get a shine from the bright light used to scan. YOu can try using a Matt Finish Fixadif. But if all else fails. Run down to a walgreens or Rite Aid buy one of those mini tripods. Mount your art on a wall, set the micro feature and adjust for a long exposer in normal lighting. That way you don't have the bounce back of the flash. --- Procrastinate Later! words to live by. |

SliverbaneTotal Posts: 274Apr 17, 2008 8:28 pmIt's up to you if youwant to do this...you can purchase a Matte finish spray fixative and spray your drawing. Many brands are made not to darken or muddy the image being spayed. It works well on oil pastels and other mediums like charcoal and graphite. --- Guano smells like a dirty sock full of old cheese and farts! - Gonard |

GreenMouse (Reply)Total Posts: 20May 4, 2008 9:52 amI am sorry I don't really have the number for the amount of time I spent on it. But I will tell you this, it was done at the last minute for a mail-in portfolio that I had to send into Carleton University. Thanks for the comment |
