This was a submission for a monthly wallpaper challenge in one of the websites I frequent. The theme: black and white with the addition of one color. I chose Jigoku Shoujo, since I was rewatching it at that time. 

Credits: The main image (Enma Ai) came from this lovely magazine scan, while the butterflies are from this one. ^^ I took the Jigoku Tsuushin logo from an Ayu-Anime fansub screenshot. 

First wallpaper I made, so critique and comments are appreciated.

That was the effect I was going for -- Enma Ai (the girl) gradually lifting off the dark background, with her eyes as the main thing. [emoticon]
