I'm not sure I understand what you mean about his hair though.. I'm having a seriously bad English day, haha! XD
Hmm.. is it the haircut itself or is it something else? Cause Kyo's hair is cut like that IRL.

The hair along the side of his face looks to be all the same length, like it was chopped off rather bluntly. It you place a few longer strands in there, it would look more natural to me.

Oooh! now I see how you mean! Sorry, I blame it on being blonde, haha! And, yes, sure, I'll work on that!
Btw, anything else you think looks off? I want as much help as possible!

Since this is a WIP, it is hard to see completely where you are going to go, but don't forget to get some really dark values in the deepest shadows and wrinkles on the clothing. Other than that, it looks really good.

Ah, yes, I'm currently working on that, since I'd like to get some more contrast in the painting. :] And I'm going to make something out of the "background", too, haha.
