Worked on this one for quite awhile on this one. You can see details here: http://misskittyoooo.deviantart.com/art/Battle-of-Shalynd-Details-88502967 Shalynd is a land that appears in my comics Daqueran You can see the map here: http://guruubii.deviantart.com/art/GathMela-Map-Daqueran-84952253 This painting didn't turn out as good as I hoped, but theres some good things about it. Characters are Daqueran (male/blonde), Iada (Female) and Kalmosses (Dragon). All appear in my comics Daqueran. Watercolours and acrylic on Watercolour paper.

 pazazzTotal Posts: 517Jun 26, 2008 2:39 pmNice work. I like the balance in the colors you chose and the details in the background really pull the entire piece together. The characters seem interesting and their is a sense of movement and action. I do find that the fire the dragon creature is spewing seems to be more like a liquid and not very flame like. Maybe adding more random curls and some smoke would help there. Thanks for sharing this with us. |
