Surprise Attack

One of the commissions I owe to my girl, Silvercat, this time of our urban fantasy couple, Shau and Laz. With a cameo by her dragonhawk, Glim.

I had some trouble with the angles but I think, over all, it's not too wonky. The reason why he has a sort of golden glow is he is actually a Nephilim. And the way our RP worked, whenever they got emotional (be it irritated or happy) they would glow. The intensity of the glow related to the intensity of the feeling. /geek

Edit: Added the tats I forgot initially.

Hmm, I love this. It looks great. And I don't think the angles look off.

Nice work, they look very natural and like they are having fun. I think there could have been some darker values in the deepest shadows and the texture on her jeans is not in keeping with the rest of the piece and grabs too much attention. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  It's possible that the shadows could be deeper but it didn't feel completely right for the mood. I disagree about the textures on the jeans. The opacity on the layer was quite low, although I didn't use many textures elsewhere, save the background, so perhaps that's what's throwing you. Thanks for the suggestions.
