The Dragons of Sinnoh

"I speak of the force that created the physics of the universe, the force that makes time flow forwards and not allow everything to happen at once, the force that sets the patterns to which the planets turn. Its weapons are coincidence, unlikelihood, happenstance." ~ The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray by Chris Wooding

Aka Spacial Rend, Roar of Time, and Shadow Force...

This is by far my most time-consuming artwork (I worked on it for a time frame spanning from approximately the last week of May to the last week of July), partly because I have to balance college requirements with personal stuff, and partly because my muse needed all the practice she can get in digital painting. Contrary to what I did in the original version, I tried my best to stay true to Ken Sugimori's color schemes. I had lots of fun as I drew this artwork, though; and, my background-painting skills have improved a lot since my last take at it. ^^

My muse is quite fond of drawing Pokemon gijinka style, especially Dialga and Palkia since I couldn't stand their rather savage portrayals in the movies. I originally did not intend to include Giratina, but Pokemon Platinum became official, and for some reason I got inspired to draw all three of the Generation IV mascots together. Yes, Palkia will always be a female in my gijinka artworks, no matter what gender the producers address her. <<

Original sketch done in pencil on bond paper, but the final lineart and the rest of the coloring was done solely in Photoshop CS2. Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina are the creations of Satoshi Tajiri. No profit is made out of this artwork. Their gijinka forms, however, are my creations. If you would like to use them for other purposes, you have to tell me first. D:<
