He's finally finished, and I can move on to other things. I must admit - I think this really IS my best piece of fantasy art to date. Thanks for being such a great muse, Lloyd, I love you man!
(For any who didn't know, this piece is my half of an art trade with Dennis. The sword design credit goes to his friend, Alvin Balajadia. Enjoy!)

BamboozledByAnimeTotal Posts: 389Aug 23, 2005 10:34 pmOh.. my..really Mini, this quite deffinately is my MOST favorite piece of yours that you have done. The amount of detail and effort put into this is stunning. Anyone with a half a mind would know that this is DEFFINATELY a masterfully done piece of art. The sword design is exquisite, the shading/shadows on the rocks are absolutely PERFECT, you have just the right amount of tone to them to give em' the "rockety" look. And the pose that Roth is in, is very well done too, you can tell just how frustrated he looks, almost as though I can feel what he is feeling at that moment. I like/love this piece you've done very much. Super- Awesome-Marvelous job Robin. Quite simply --- "Any goal worth achieving, is never easy" ~Charlone Claudius; Growlanser Generations~ |

BogusRedTotal Posts: 2854Aug 24, 2005 12:08 amRobin this is really amazing. All of that hard work has really paid off. This is excellent work. Perhaps the best we've seen from you yet. There is so much emotion in Roth and I love the level of detail you've put into it. I hope you have some way of protecting it so that all of your hard work can be preserved. --- |

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1917Aug 24, 2005 1:51 amI think I might frame this one. I just have to get to the store and all that jazz. We're going downtown tomorrow, so I'll probably bring it to the frame shop with me on our way out to lunch (Jon and I are celebrating 2.5 years). Before then.. I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope it doesn't get ripped. --- |
