Finally done and practically at the last minute. UGH. *dead tired* This is my project for Principles of Design and Color, which is due on Tuesday. The criteria of the project is supposed to demonstrate High key, Low key, Hue Modulation, and Subtle Chroma and/or Middle Value Key. We had a choice of doing for seperate designs that fit together and measure 12" x 18" or a full composition of the same measure. I chose the latter as it was easier... SO I THOUGHT. The actual dimensions for this piece is 5400 x 3600 pixels at 300 dpi. It is massive, far larger than ANYTHING I've worked on before. My computer protested fiercely, oh so fiercely. Over 72 hours of work and much stress have been put into this thing, any and all feedback is appreciated. I can say that I am proud of this piece as I've advanced one more step in the agony of learning to work bigger. x.x
As for the handsome beastie, its H'jad of course~ Really he's starting slowly show up in my gallery more and more. I sense a take over in the works...

How did you make this? It is extremely strong as an artwork and well done!
I drew it out in my sketchbook, scanned it at 300dpi, cleaned up the sketch in Photoshop, outlined it in Photoshop, and painted it in the same program.
The expression on the beastie is amazing - full of energy, but still managing an inhuman touch.
Well done!
