No, this did actually happen in a current rp storyline. Asher and his old friend Captain Drake of the Golden Hind decided to team up and do some fine pirating, and the first step involved getting some info out of one Commodore Thomas Bradshaw (who I shall post next.)

So here we find Asher and Albert, quietly slipping into some high-society party, and Albert's off to go make friends with their mark.
